About the project

Bamboo Mat is a Nikkei restaurant, Japanese technique with Peruvian ingredients, with a raw bar, sushi counter and robata grill. Its second London site opened in 2026 at Wood Wharf, Canary Wharf, following the original in Stratford's East Village. The fit-out pairs a timber-clad ceiling and bar canopy with louvred window screens, an open kitchen and a terrace to the street.
